Frequently asked questions
Answers about the sponsor register, the browser extension and your account.
What does the extension do?
The Work Visa Sponsors browser extension tells you which job listings come from a licensed visa sponsor while you browse popular job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and TotalJobs. Sponsored listings are marked with a possible or visa sponsor badge.
Is the extension free?
Yes. The extension is free for everyone. There is no licence to buy and nothing expires. Install it from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with a free Work Visa Sponsors account.
Are there any computer requirements?
No. The extension runs in Google Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers) and works on any computer that can run the browser.
The extension no longer works on a job board
Job boards update their websites regularly and those changes can affect the extension. Update the extension from the Chrome Web Store to get the latest version. If the problem continues, email support@workvisasponsors.co.uk.
Is the UK sponsor list official?
Yes. Our UK list is built from the Home Office register of licensed sponsors and refreshed when the register is updated. We add sector, location and contact information on top.
Do I need an account to search sponsors?
No. Searching and browsing sponsors is free. A free account unlocks sponsor contact details, CV upload, job matches and sign-in to the browser extension.
