Cytopath Limited was established in 1995 by Dr Christopher Belford, the UK's first RCVS recognised specialist in clinical pathology.

Veterinary diagnostic pathology is our business and our reputation for excellence is well established. Since the company’s inception, there has been a continuous program of expansion in the range of tests made available to our clients and we currently offer testing across multiple disciplines - histopathology, cytology, ophthalmic pathology, haematology (including coagulation testing) and microbiology.

Chris retired in December 2013, handing over the reins to Emma Scurrell and Mike Rozmanec. Together they bring new energy and enthusiasm whilst maintaining the high veterinary pathology standards you've come to expect from Cytopath.

Our team of veterinary pathologists is highly trained, on-site and up-to-date, and collectively have over 40 years of experience in diagnostic pathology - so clients can rest assured their diagnostic specimens are in good hands when submitted to Cytopath.
